My little guy whom is 3yrs old has a ruff time with emotions. Sensory issues leave him with an overload of nerves that sometimes make hugs and cuddling too much to handle. As he gets use to finding other ways to show his love we are all patient trying to understand what it must be like for him. Today I flopped down on the sofa next to him with a towel on and a head full of wet hair. I had been up all night and feeling like crap. Next thing I see and feel a little finger on my nose. " Mommy" he said "You look just beautiful!"
I felt pretty damn good after that.
