Dandi Lions

Driving to school we were talking about how fast the trees and grass had turned green. I mentioned that the lawns had Dandi Lions on them already. Then I noticed my son was quiet. I looked in the rearview mirror to see that he had filled up with tears. "Why and you Crying" I asked? First thing I thought of was someone had hurt his feelings at school. He looked up at me with big tears rolling off his cheeks and answered "Mom why don't people like Dandi Lions. They are flowers too.
