Emotions 2

As I mentioned previously, my 3yr old have sensory issues and has to find other ways to show his affection that lots of touch. I am amazing and blessed every time he displays a new way of reaching out to me or his brother. It instantly makes me thank God for helping us give him the tools he needs.
It was close to bedtime and I wasn't pushing the time because I was rather enjoying the conversation we were having about trains. He cuddled up on the love seat with a pillow. I got up and placed a blanket on him with out asking him or talking about it. He snuggled in and had a few yawns between conversation of space ships and rockets. I was on the sofa next to him giving him his space. Out of no where he got up and left the room and came back with his blanket and covered me up. "You can have my blankie Mommy." "Now we are both happy." he grinned. Such a small gesture have me hope and love and so much more. Just a blankie to most.
I am blessed to have friends whom support me with their time to comment on my status from time to time. The few seconds it takes to do so can sometimes really change a persons day. If anyone has anything they would like to share on Autism or any other issues PLEASE feel free to do so. I do NOT judge...I am only a support and if I don't have the tools you need I will not stop until i do.
